We Rest On Thee
“We rest on Thee, our Shield and our Defender,
Thine is the battle, Thine shall be the praise
When passing through the gates of pearly splendor
Victors, we rest with Thee through endless days.”
Today is my grandmother’s going home service and celebration of her life. I have so many different emotions. But one thing is constant–how thankful I am to have had her as my grandma and so very thankful that she is in the presence of The Lord.
