05.24.08 Shekhinah + Derrick
What a whirlwind! These two were college sweethearts and married in a beautiful garden ceremony at The Bethwood. There were many, many tears of joy; even I cried at one point and I didn’t even know them until recently! But everything came together for them on this day. Flowers, hair, makeup, timing,…… no good thing was withheld. Apparently they started out just as friends at Cornell. Shekhinah said that she followed Derrick around freshman year until he realized that they were dating “and now I can follow you around the rest of our life.” How sweet! Everyone was so happy…… me too!
