Last weekend I met up with Adriana and Christopher for their engagement portraits. They came down from Boston to celebrate Easter with family. We had a lot of fun meandering around the Harlem Meer in Central Park. Their little dog Gigi also had fun–more like an adventure. We must have passed at least 20 dogs while we were there! It was such a beautiful day–perfect for Engagement Portraits! Here’s a sneak peak at a few of my favorites.
can’t wait until their wedding this summer!

Rejoicing in The Lord!
Last Sunday I had an opportunity to photograph the YPC and SPC choirs during a regular service. It was so awesome just to see their faces as they worshiped God with all their heart. This Sunday is Easter and will certainly be amazing. If you’d like to come to a Church this Easter Sunday, but don’t have a church home, stop by Times Square Church! Each service is different and each service is unforgettable! 10am, 3pm, and 6pm. Happy Easter! wg

Corporate Creativity
I was asked to do corporate headshots for someone applying for business school. She decided she wanted to stay away from the typical “corporate headshot”. (Getting into B-school is competitive!) So why not get a more creative portrait that makes you look more creative? In every profession, those who rise to excellence are those who are the most creative. ![]()

This morning I had a fun engagement portrait session with Anna and Greg. We met up at Grand Central Station and went to Chinatown and Little Italy. We had a lot of fun! While taking one interesting picture someone asked, “How much?” I had no idea what he meant, so I just ignored him. But we realized that he actually wanted to buy the photo! What?! So …… New Yorkers are very lively….. and interactive…… which is one reason I like living here.
A special shout out to Lombardi’s (1st Pizzeria in America!) for letting us take a few images there.

Photographer Makes Hospital Calls
Today I had the honor of photographing little Prestian! It wasn’t exactly in my plans though! His mom, Benjy, had scheduled maternity portraits with me for yesterday morning. But the day before, she gave birth! So instead of doing maternity portraits on Wednesday in the studio, we had newborn portraits on Thursday in the hospital. He came a little bit early but babies don’t consult us anyway. Isn’t he delicious? This first shot was Benjy’s idea–ingenious!

‘Togs Eat Too!
Hey! I had lunch with Gulnara today! She’s another really great and artistic photographer in the area. We went to Cinema Cafe and I had sliders. Yes! I’m a cheeseburger and fries kinda girl. Sometimes people wonder “what happens if my photographer has to cancel?” Well, I’ll call on a friend and colleague whom I trust. There are a bunch of us that help each other out by being a back up, or a second photographer, or a source of referrals. I’m humbled to be among them. Check out Gulnara’s site and blog!

New Blog!
I’m so excited about my new blog! New website is on the way. Here I’m deciding on new borders and branding styles.
Check it out!
