Wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City

Yea! The day is finally here! Monique and Greg have planned an elegant, simple affair not far from home. In fact, they got married at the very same Catholic church where they met. Afterwards, the reception was at the Hyatt Regency right on the Hudson in Jersey City. I really like the modern, mid-century design and styling there. It makes it so much more interesting than a typical hotel banquet space. And the views! Gorgeous! Three sides looking out onto the water and the lower Manhattan skyline. I’d been here before at night and it’s just as spectacular. There was a some confusion over who was prettier—Monique or one of her sisters? I knew right away—Monique, of course! Everyone came together for this wedding despite the recent passing of a family member. There were tears of joy mixed with some sadness. I pray for God’s consolation for them all; and that Monique and Greg’s marriage will be a blessing. XOXO, wg
