06.03.07 Marilina + Ben

Marilina and Ben got married this past weekend at The Carltun. Everything was gorgeous! I especially liked the generous use of wood in the decor (hardwood floors, dark wood chairs, etc) and their spectacular gardens. The MC’ing and music were handled by the fun-loving experts from DP Events. Marilina’s sister, of Kampo Floral Design, is a professional florist so all the floral arrangements were done by her and were AMAZING! I hadn’t before seen such a rich complement of greens and yellows for a wedding. Marilina looked very classic in a dress and veil that she purchased at the Wedding Atelier in New York’s Flatiron District. I had a lot of fun with my Lensbaby with one camera dedicated JUST for that cool little lens. There were SO many cameras brought by guests! A few people– who shall be nameless here –took almost as many pictures as I did! It’s nice to know people understand the importance of capturing fleeting moments…… I hope I get to hang out with these two a lot more in the future. Congratulations!
