03.08.06 Musical Artist

These are portraits of a very talented musician and writer. Tod has written lots of music, been a saxophonist and choir director at Times Square Church for many years, and now works for Jazz at Lincoln Center. In any case, Tod’s talent and humility have encouraged and inspired many over the years. Since I’d never done portraits of a musician before, it was fun just collaborating with Tod to strike the right balance. We even went to Tod’s favorite woodwind instrument store for some images!
